We’re on the hunt for our next energetic, ideas-generating member of the Forster team. We’re looking for an ambitious junior creative, who is buzzing with inspiration and enthusiasm.

We’re looking for someone with design skills, a curious and creative mindset and a thirst for developing ideas, who keeps in touch with trends and a has solid understanding of communications in the round.

We’re a motivated, fast-paced, specialist agency based in lively London Bridge. Our clients are as varied as the issues we help them address; from corporate brands such as Allen & Overy, Aviva, DP World and Astellas Pharma to charities like Stroke Association, Alzheimer’s Society and Young Women’s Trust. About you

We care more about your portfolio and your ideas than your specific experience. Show us that you can think differently, engage people’s attention and get your message across, and we’ll want to talk to you.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Be familiar and confident in using the full Adobe Creative Suite. The role will include graphic design tasks
  • Have strong written and verbal communications skills – you can turn a thought in a brainstorm into a clear written concept
  • You don’t just know social media and digital – you live it
  • Be self-motivated and comfortable working independently on creative projects
  • Also a team player, happy to bounce ideas with others and respond to discussion and feedback
  • Actively interested in PR and communications and how different channels can be used to engage people with ideas
  • Able to respond to briefs, demonstrating original thinking and be comfortable both questioning the brief and presenting your ideas to clients and colleagues
  • Able to come up with the big idea, bring it to life, and seeing it through to delivery
  • Able to manage your own time, working across multiple projects at once
  • Visually literate and understand the power of image and other visual cues to convey ideas
  • Love language, understand its power and know how to use it
  • Enjoy finding new ways of doing things and challenging the status quo

About you:

  • You’ll have experience on B2C or B2B campaigns
  • Proven results in delivering high impact campaigns
  • A proven ability to manage accounts on budget and time whilst delivering stand out work for clients
  • You love PR in all its forms and are happy diving in to lead media sell ins, campaign launches and events, and inspiring your teams to achieve great results
  • A confident presenter, keen to share ideas and pitch projects internally and to clients
  • Have a natural ability for writing compelling content for media and marketing materials
  • Inspire confidence with clients as the natural ‘go to’ whenever they need advice, updates or ideas
  • Have extensive knowledge and understanding of the UK media landscape as well as a genuine passion for following and setting the media agenda
  • A love and understanding of all things social and the ability to think beyond traditional media relations when it comes to ideas and communications to drive action
  • A lively and ambitious individual who wants to make their mark by contributing bright ideas and becoming an essential member of the team quickly

We’re on the lookout for exciting, innovative freelance designers with experience of UX and digital design. 

We’re a small team so are looking for people who are open to working in our London office from time to time and being a temporarily-integrated part of our team (though we’re happy to balance this with remote working). Ideally we are looking for web designers who are comfortable with developing the UX side of things as well as creating beautiful designs. Our projects sometimes require tight timings and swift design work but that doesn’t mean we can’t challenge briefs and come up with original, intelligent ideas.

Our web builds are almost always on open-source platforms (primarily WordPress and Drupal) and we always take an audience-centred approach to anything we design. We’re looking for people who are comfortable thinking mobile-first and who know that responsive sites are a given. You could be working on a campaign microsite to encourage behaviour change, or a full web rebuild for a social-change organisation.
