Forster expands team with new Head of Sustainability Practice

Peter Gilheany

Forster is delighted to welcome Peter Gilheany as the new head of our sustainability practice.

Peter joins Forster from Geronimo Communications, where he was a Board Director specialising in behavioural change campaigns for charities and government agencies.  Prior to this, Peter gained over seven years experience in the voluntary sector, having worked in senior communications roles for The Giving Campaign, SPARKS and CSV.

At Forster, Peter will be driving new business and delivering communications programmes that tackle complex social and environmental issues and affect attitudinal, behavioural and policy change, specialising in the areas of sustainability and social equality.  A new role at Forster, the head of sustainability practice leads a team that already manages a number of key clients across public, private and not-for-profit sectors, including Vodafone, Reckitt Benckiser, VSO and the Department for Transport.

On joining Forster, Peter said

“It is a great time to be joining Forster, particularly to work in the areas of sustainability and social equality, as these are gaining increasing prominence and importance. They are issues which affect our everyday lives, which makes this role a very exciting one and I am looking forward to getting stuck in.”
