Forster wins communications contract with PIDG

The Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG) brings together official aid agencies from Austria, Britain, Ireland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland and the World Bank to work with the private sector to boost economic development and reduce poverty in poor countries to help meet the UN Millennium Development Goals.

Forster is working with PIDG to develop and implement a communications strategy. Set up in 2002, the PIDG has undertaken pioneering work to overcome the obstacles that often prevent the private sector investing in energy, water and sanitation, power and industry projects in developing countries. Forster’s challenge is to ensure the PIDG approach is better understood and used amongst the wider aid donor community, private sector investors, developing country governments and other stakeholders.
