Salary: £22-24k + benefits, depending on experience

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, confident and media savvy junior account executive. You will be working across a diverse portfolio of social change clients, supporting the teams with media sell ins, new business research, project administration and more.

We are an award-winning, fast-paced agency that uses creative ideas and smart strategy to help our clients create positive social change. Our clients and their aims are varied, from delivering global sustainability initiatives to changing attitudes and behaviour on issues such as the ageing population, mental health, food and nutrition and responsible business practice. We work with businesses such as Tesco, DP World and KPMG and not-for-profit clients like Alzheimer’s Society, Stroke Association, Breast Cancer Now and Samaritans.

We are looking for bright, intuitive people who show initiative, are natural team players and who want to wow clients and colleagues with inspired ideas. Our ideal candidate will be someone with a minimum of six months experience in an account executive role, with media relations skills, the drive and energy to work across multiple accounts and the confidence to take on a client facing role from the off.

We’re on the hunt for our next energetic, ideas-generating and media savvy member of the Forster team. We’re looking for an ambitious and experienced account manager with a mature understanding of PR and communications and experience of leading accounts. About you:

  • You’ll have experience on B2C or B2B campaigns
  • Proven results in delivering high impact campaigns
  • A proven ability to manage accounts on budget and time whilst delivering stand out work for clients
  • You love PR in all its forms and are happy diving in to lead media sell ins, campaign launches and events, and inspiring your teams to achieve great results
  • A confident presenter, keen to share ideas and pitch projects internally and to clients
  • Have a natural ability for writing compelling content for media and marketing materials
  • Inspire confidence with clients as the natural ‘go to’ whenever they need advice, updates or ideas
  • Have extensive knowledge and understanding of the UK media landscape as well as a genuine passion for following and setting the media agenda
  • A love and understanding of all things social and the ability to think beyond traditional media relations when it comes to ideas and communications to drive action
  • A lively and ambitious individual who wants to make their mark by contributing bright ideas and becoming an essential member of the team quickly

We’re looking for an ambitious, media savvy and confident freelance account manager to join the team from January and help us accelerate social change.

You’ll be a natural with client and team management and, most importantly, have a hunger for the latest campaigns, channels and creative ideas to ensure excellence for our clients. You, like us, will be driven by your desire to work on important issues that change our world for the better.

Technical skills and requirements:

  • Be able to lead the charge on media sell ins, campaign launches and events, inspiring other team members to work with you to achieve great results
  • Be a confident presenter, keen to share ideas and pitch projects to new clients
  • Have a natural ability for writing compelling content for media and marketing materials

  • Be a natural on social media and be able to think beyond media relations when it comes ideas and communications to drive action
